  Seeds, Plants & Trees

You don't have to rely on your local gardening center for transplants. Starting plants from seed is less expensive and you can grow exactly what you want. Whether it's an exotic pepper, a rare type of tomato, when you go with seeds, you can grow higher-quality plants that suit your planting schedule. However, there are transplants available if you're getting a late start this year.

Starting seeds is always the start of a gratifying process where you and your family can watch the entire plant cycle evolve from seed to fruit. On the below pages are lots of recommendations for high quality seeds. There are new hybrids and heirloom varieties as well as some that are exotic are hard to find. The organic section has 84 types of vegetables and a seed kit to choose from.

The fruit and nut section has a wonderful variety of trees and bushes. The dwarf fruit trees can be kept indoors or outside depending on the weather so you can let them flourish and produce fruits all year long. There's everything form bananas to pineapples to different kinds of guava. If you like the sweet taste of nature, there is always the standard selection of berries as well as some more exotic ones like boysenberries, goji berries, gooseberries, and honeyberries just to name a few. Lots of good, healthy eating there.
